Sulha — Support

Money and debt tracking that stays on your phone.

Email support@wizeb.com and we will come back to you. Telling us your device, your OS version and what you were doing when something went wrong saves a round trip.

Where is my data kept?

On your phone, in the app's own private storage. Sulha has no account system and no server, so nothing is held by us. The privacy policy sets that out in full.

What is the twelve-word recovery phrase for?

It is the key to your backup. Your backup file is encrypted before it leaves your phone, and the phrase is the only thing that can decrypt it on a different device. Write it down somewhere that is not your phone. If you lose both the phrase and the phone, the backup cannot be opened — not by you, and not by us. That is the cost of us not holding a copy.

How do I move to a new phone?

Install Sulha on the new phone, choose Restore on the welcome screen or under More › Restore, point it at your backup, and enter your twelve-word phrase.

Does backup run by itself?

Yes, once you have switched it on. It waits until you have stopped making changes, then uploads a single current copy, and it tries again on its own if the connection was not there. There is a Back up now button if you would rather not wait.

Why does Sulha ask for my contacts?

Only so it can fill in a name for you when you record money with someone, and only at the moment you tap that field. Just the people you pick are saved. If you say no, the name field stays as free text and everything else works the same.

Can I get my records out?

More › Export gives you your whole book, or one person's statement, as a PDF, a spreadsheet or a CSV file.

Requesting a deletion

Deleting the app removes everything on the device. A backup is removed by deleting the file from your own iCloud Drive, or from Google Drive's Manage apps screen. There is nothing on our side to delete, but write to us if you would like that confirmed.
